Born in Ecuador, in 1943 and based in NY, Gloria graduated the first class of the Official School of Casa de la Cultura Núcleo del Guayas (House of Culture of Guayas).
She has worked in radio, film, theater and television. Currently, she is the vice president of Tocando Puertas Theater Company in New York. She has acted in more than 50 plays, from drama to comedy, including: "No Exit", "Entre Tinieblas", "El Marinero y el Estudiante", "La Sangre", "Q.E.P.D.", "Las Velas y el Asfalto", "Comedia Unipersonal", "La Garra del Mono", "El Casi Casamiento", "El Viejo Celoso", "El Enfermo Imaginario", "El Avaro", among others.
She has been nominated for Best Actress by the ACE Awards for his role in "El Espíritu Burlón", "El Sr. Presidente" and "Cuestión de Vida o Muerte".
She was granted an ACE Award and was nominated by ATI for Best Comedy Actress for her masterful performance in "Mientras más Vieja más Verde".
Gloria recently won the ACE Award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her acting in the play "Por él soy Eva".
