José Andrés was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in 1993.
He joined ITV, (Superior Institute for Television Studies) to get a degree as a Performance Technologist and Stage Manager.
Performing Arts Professor Miguel Angel Zelaya taught him the "clown technique".
José Andrés has worked in sitcoms like "El Combo Amarillo," "Así pasa" and "Tres Familias" for Ecuavisa network. Also, he has acted in programs such as "Pareja Feliz" (Teleamazonas Channel), "Secretarias" (TC Television Channel) and the reality show "Combate" (RTS Channel).
He has appeared in several TV commercials. Also, he was part of the cast of "Resaka", Internet's first soap opera produced in Ecuador.
In theater he has acted in " El Juez de los Divorcios", led by Ney Calderón, "Circus Loquio", directed by Jéssica Páez, and ''Escuadra de la Muerte'', directed by Francisco Holguín.
